For you faithful Tumblr fans… you can check it out first.
Featuring “Bones”, a popular track from the group’s “In Session” performance in conjunction with 95bFM (and subsequently charting on the station’s Top 10 for a number of weeks) and popular live favourites “Line To Spin” and “Sleepwalk To The Slaughter”, Cat Venom’s EP is succinct, sardonic and to the point.
Cat Venom – EP is released May 21st on Cassette and Digitally

If you’re friends with me on Facebook (or for some god unknown reason, are subscribed to my posts), you’ll have noticed I’ve rediscovered my love for literary classics by Marvel Comics… seems that quitting smoking means that I have a bit more money to play around with.
Martyn Pepperell suggested I check out The Boys, written by Garth Ennis (Preacher, PunisherMAX #1 - #60)and now neatly encompassed in trade paperback form. I picked up Volume 1 today at Real Groovy (in my defense, I had store credit, before I get brow beaten by comic book purists). I really enjoyed it - it’s a neat, different spin on the superhero/mere mortal equation and the artwork, by Darick Robertson, is quite similar to his other work -Transmetropolitan (Spider Jerusalem for the win!)
It’s worth checking out and has kept me at bay until I pick up AvX #2 and #3 tomorrow daytime.
Currently listening to Hell Is Now Love’s awesome anthology on The Postures. Brings back some very happy memories of the label back in it’s “youth.” Met some guys I am still very proud to call my friends. :)

Cat Venom’s EP artwork for the forthcoming cassette tape. Looks pretty sharp.
Released back in 2011 - lots of changes have happened since then. But it’s still one of our favorite compilations to date. Note the inclusion of Sidewalk Meese, Roy Irwin and Pikachunes remixing Cat Venom. Made for a pretty interesting mix!

Ever get the feeling this will become a wrestling blog? ;)
Got asked a bit about wrestling the other night. You know how comedians hate being asked what their favorite joke is, or some people hate being asked what their favorite band is? I get like that sometimes with wrestlers.
CM Punk is one of my favorites though. I’ve followed him since the indie feds in the states, way back in 2003 and I’ve always enjoyed him. Pretty much because he just is himself - the “Henry Rollins of wrestling”, as I’ve referred to him in the past.
OTHER WRESTLERS THAT I LIKE:
Chris Jericho
Mick Foley
Stone Cold Steve Austin
Chris Hero (now known as Kassius Ohno)
Edge
Colt Cabana
Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan)
Kevin Steen
El Generico
Paul London and Brian Kendrick
AJ Styles
Alex Shelley
There’s a few actually - but those in bold I’ve followed since the late 90’s/early 00’s.
